01 · TELL ME ABOUT THEM
I have always had a very strong connection with animals, so getting to know the pets behind my portraits is one of my favourite parts of what I do.
I grew up with dogs and I am a cat mum myself, so I know just how special they are to us. I’d love to hear a little about your pet — their personality, their favourite things to do, their funny little habits or simply what makes them them. It all helps me understand who I’m drawing, rather than working from a photograph alone.
Then, send me your favourite photos. A clear, detailed reference will always help me create the most accurate portrait, but don’t worry if you’re unsure which one to choose — sometimes the pet we want to remember is no longer with us, or our favourite photo simply isn’t the best quality. I’m always happy to guide you on what will work best to create a beautiful portrait that feels unmistakably them.

Think about where your portrait will live, how you would like to frame it, and how much presence you would like it to have in the room.
Portraits are available in a selection of sizes, with pricing depending on the dimensions and number of pets included. You can use the examples below to get a feel for how each size might look in your space.

Tell me where you are planning to display it and I'll be happy to discuss your options and recomment a size.
Looking for something different?
If you have a particular size in mind, would like to include more than three pets, or are looking for something slightly different, just let me know. Custom sizes and larger group portraits can be discussed on request.

03 · trust the process
Some people love to follow every step of the way; others prefer to wait and be surprised. How much you see is entirely up to you.
Once you’ve settled on a size and chosen your photo(s), a 50% deposit via bank transfer reserves your place in my commission diary. The remaining balance is payable once you’re completely happy with your portrait and just before delivery. If you’re working to a deadline, please mention this and I’ll do my best to accommodate you. I’ll confirm all details (size, photo, timeline) before I begin.
OPTION 1: FOLLOW THE JOURNEY
If you love seeing how things come together, I can bring you along for the process. I’ll share progress updates as your portrait develops — from the initial composition and sketch to details, colours and those final finishing touches.
This usually includes photographs, short videos, time-lapse videos or little behind-the-scenes updates from my studio.

OPTION 2: KEEP THE SURPRISE
Love to be surprised? Leave everything in my hands and I’ll keep your finished portrait under wraps.
You can choose to see only a photograph once the portrait is complete, or go all the way and wait until you unwrap the original at home for the very first time.
A little note about approvals & changes
Choosing how involved you’d like to be also affects when changes can be requested. I recommend having a quick read through my approval and revision policy before choosing your preferred process. By choosing option 2, you are giving me full creative trust to complete your portrait without progress approvals.

04 · FROM MY STUDIO TO YOUR DOOR
Your portrait may leave my desk, but I want it to reach you with the same care with which it was made.
Once your portrait is complete, I carefully prepare and package the original by hand, using protective materials chosen to keep the artwork safe throughout its journey.
Every piece is securely wrapped and protected before being placed into its outer packaging, so it arrives ready for its new home — whether that is just across London or on the other side of the world.
